“Eid Mubarak” to all readers and beyond!
Very special appreciation to Rehana, Panna, Nargis, Momtaz and their teams, your taking the time out of your Eid holiday to continue hand stitch to complete the promises we made to our customers. Your cheerfulness and can-do attitude make you a pleasure to work with- every time I come to Bangladesh. Thank you for your effort to transform our work environment.
We have outdone to our fear of last month’s difficulties, I am proud to be part of this social Business team. Now, we even dare to make black pearl like “Nokshikhatha”.
Even though in small volume, our product will soon be in New York and Tokyo‘s reputable fashion outlet.
In this Joyful Eid occasion, I also like to thank all staff’s husband- those who are married and parents those how are not- married to allow your wife’s and daughter to work with us in IIMON to make beautiful garments and in the process make a better future for themselves.
I am looking forward to work and make many wonderful stories of all of us.

＜日本語にて少々補足します＞ バングラデシュでは長いラマダンが終わり、イードのお祭りシーズンになりました。この時期はほとんどの会社が1週間程度休みになり、さらにボーナスもでるのでまさにお正月とお盆が一緒に来るような感覚でしょうか。 iimonでも休暇はもちろんのことボーナスと家族へのプレゼントを用意しました。 そんな中、納期が迫っている注文のためになんと6名ものスタッフがイードの期間中も、しかも残業までして仕事をやり遂げると申し出てくれました。
「責任感」という言葉とはかけ離れた仕事ぶりの人も多いバングラデシュにおいて、私たちのスタッフがここまで仕事にやりがいと誇りを感じてくれていることに経営者としてこみ上げるような喜びを感じるとともに、「仕事が楽しくて仕方ない」とまで言ってくれる彼女たちに応えられる仕事と環境を用意しなくては、と痛切に感じています。 近々、そんな彼女たちが作った特別なノクシカタもオンラインショップにUpします。ご期待ください。
