Golmaal is one film that's got the perfect ingredients to make it one of hindi cinema's all-time-greats. A superb cast, a storyline that keeps you laughing throughout and some memorable tunes, in his guest to attain a job Ramprasad Sharma (Amol Palekar) assumes a nerby identity with a pride for his moustache to impress his would-be boss Bhawani Shanker (Utpal Dutt). All goes well till Bhawani spots the real Ram who now resorts to a dual identity and spate of lies to keep his job. More trouble brews as the boss's daughter falls in love with him and he struggles to maintain his sanity while switching between nerby and hip-hop.
